Control surface emulation & MIDI tools. Works directly with native MIDI drivers.

TouchDAW is a full-featured DAW control and general purpose MIDI control app. It allows you to tweak a large set of parameters in popular digital audio applications as accessible through standard hardware control surfaces.
Version 1.2.5 has dedicated support for Cubase / Nuendo, Live, Logic, Pro Tools, Sonar, FL Studio, REAPER, Reason, Studio One, Samplitude, SAWStudio and Digital Performer (7.2+) workstations. Standard functionality like mixer and transport operation will be accessible in other applications as well. As of version 1.1 the app can also send MIDI Machine Control (MMC) in parallel with or alternatively to standard DAW control.

Control (OSC + MIDI)

Control enables users to create their own interfaces for controlling musical, artistic and virtual reality applications. It is built on top of the WebKit rendering engine and allows users to define their interfaces via JSON files. Features include:

- Outputs Open Sound Control (OSC). MIDI coming soon!
- Handles multitouch on devices running Honeycomb
- Bi-directional communication: use Control to set values on your computer, use your computer to set values in Control
- Dynamically add and manipulate widgets via OSC messages
- Reads and outputs data from Accelerometer and Compass sensors (on applicable devices) with adjustable update rates
- The ability to script behaviors for widgets using JavaScript
- Auto-discovery of wireless networks via Bonjour
- Interfaces can be pushed to the phone via OSC or downloaded from the web
- Supports both portrait and landscape interface orientations
- Interfaces work on both phones and tablets (tested on Droid and Asus Transformer)

Portable USB audio interface

Nio 2/4 is a USB audio/MIDI interface with 2 inputs and 4 outputs. It is ultra-reliable, compact and easy to use, ideal for recording artists and laptop DJs.

Laptop DJs

4 phono outputs for routing 2 stereo signals to either side of a mixer, and 2 headphone outs to cue-up tracks before sending them to the mix.

Recording/Tracking

Nio has a microphone input and a line input for recording guitars (or any external instrument). It also has 2 headphone outputs for monitoring recordings, and further outputs to go to your main monitors.

On-Board FX

Nio includes ‘Direct FX’ which run ‘in the audio driver’, so avoiding the latency you experience with plug-ins. These include:

• reverb, compression, EQ from Focusrite

• multi-FX derived from Novation’s legendary Supernova II synth.

Katapult is a very flexible mapping application for the Novation Launchpad and apple iPad. It allows you to map customisable multipage layouts to the Launchpad or iPad and send the MIDI output to any MIDI application or device
